Nació en La Habana en 1983, donde asistió a la Academia de Bellas Artes “San Alejandro” entre 1999 y el 2003. Posteriormente ingresa al Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA) entre el 2004 y el 2009. Durante sus estudios en el Instituto fue seleccionado por la artista Tania Bruguera para cursar su Taller De Arte de Conducta entre el 2006 y el 2008. Durante estos dos años tuvo la oportunidad de compartir e intercambiar con importantes artistas como Thomas Hirschhorn, Allora & Calsadilla, Artur Zmijewski, Rirkrit Tiravanija, Antoni Muntadas, entre otros. También sostuvo intercambios con importantes curadores, teóricos y críticos como Jens Hoffmann, Nicolas Bourriaud, Borís Groys, Manfred Pfister y otros. Todas estas etapas formativas lo llevaron a ampliar los límites de sus preocupaciones artísticas, exponiéndose a las más diversas disciplinas y situaciones, interesándole “la capacidad del arte de utilizar y reorganizar formas sociales existentes, modelos culturales que puedan ser reactualizables infinitamente.” Desarrolla su obra desde diferentes medios artísticos dependiendo de la idea. El Centro de Arte Contemporáneo Wifredo Lam fue inaugurado el 28 de febrero de 1983 con la misión de investigar y promocionar las artes visuales contemporáneas de África, Medio Oriente, Asia, América Latina y el Caribe, así como para estudiar y promover la obra de Wifredo Lam, el más universal de nuestros pintores. La Bienal de La Habana constituye el evento más importante del centro. El Ballet Español de Cuba, compañía fundada en 1987 por el bailarín, coreógrafo y su actual director, Eduardo Veitía, fue creado para mantener viva la semilla, para conservar y enriquecer con el paso de la historia y el constante quehacer de las artes, la profunda huella dejada en nuestra isla por la emigración española. La rica tradición de la raíz hispánica es una presencia insoslayable en la cultura cubana. Un objetivo fundamental del Ballet Español de Cuba es recrear los principales estilos de la danza española, entre ellos la escuela bolera, el flamenco y los bailes regionales de España. La estilización de estas danzas y la fusión en algunos de sus espectáculos con la música y la danza criollas, enriquecidas a su vez por otras influencias de distintas latitudes, le permite utilizar en su repertorio tanto temas clásicos como contemporáneos, sin límites ni fronteras. Además de ser la primera y única compañía en la enseñanza de las danzas españolas en Cuba, su unidad artístico-docente prioriza la innovación y fortalecimiento de la pedagogía artística, en constante propósito hacia la formación de sus bailarines en el estudio de la danza y la coreografía del rico acervo del baile español y sus tradiciones.
