This workshop is open to anyone interested in hand building in clay, for all levels from beginning to advanced. We will explore pinch pots, coil pots, slab building and press molds to create functional or sculptural pieces. Come to create with the oldest natural art material and combine all the elements of earth, water, air and fire ! The possibilities are limitless !

Instructor:
Jean Chiang is an artist with a BFA in Ceramic Sculpture from Parsons School of Design, NY and a MFA in Sculpture from Hunter College, NY. Jean is a ceramicist, sculptor, painter, printmaker, fiber artist, installation artist and uses many different media. Jean has been working with Diaspora Vibe Gallery in Miami since 2001. She has exhibited nationally and internationally since 1972.
