'The nothing is wrong painting' is a new painting by Herman van Bergen. The artist was inspired by the famous statue the 'Laocoön Group', also known as 'Laocoön and His Sons', most likely created between 40 and 20BC. ``The strength of this figure appeals to me. His struggle with the meaning of life and death.'' The cacti and snakes symbolize the fact that mankind through greed, racism, war and pollution makes this struggle even more difficult. The title refers to the reluctance to be confronted with the negative side of human nature.
