The puma.creative Mobility Awards, in association with Creative Caribbean Network, provide the opportunity for creative individuals to connect, and participate in major national and international art events, empowering them through the ability to “be there”.
What is a PUMA.Creative Mobility Award?
The puma.creative Mobility Award, in association with Creative Caribbean Network, is awarded to cover the travel costs for artists and art professionals to attend an event in which they are taking part.
(Visas, transfer to and from the airport, train or bus station, as well as accommodation remain the responsibility of the applicants.)
What is the aim of the PUMA.Creative Mobility Award?
The puma.creative Mobility Award is a benefit of Creative Caribbean Network membership and aims to:
Encourage cross-cultural understanding;
Support art and cultural institutions by covering the cost of bringing participating artists or art professionals to their event;
Support artists and cultural operators wishing to attend a major event in which they are taking part;
Facilitate dialogue between artists/professionals and their peers at national and international level;
Provide networking opportunities to Creative Caribbean Network members, which contributes to, and enhances their skills as well as promotes their career.
Who can apply?
Artists, art professionals and organizations who are members of Creative Caribbean Network are welcome to apply for a puma.creative Mobility Award.
For which event can I apply?
You can apply for all sorts of cultural events, including exhibitions, fairs, festivals, shows, workshops, residencies, conferences and symposia.
Which art forms qualify for a PUMA.Creative Mobility Award?
All art forms, including interdisciplinary art forms, qualify for a puma.creative Mobility Award including architecture, dance, design, fashion, film*, fine art, literature, music, new media, performing arts and photography.
