I am an artist, architect, poet, inventor, educator and 'cultural development activist'. I am working with an organization call ARTC-URI in New York steering an initiative where art is used for healing mentally, physically and creatively challenged people. Promoting the historic continuity of movements through the Harlem Renaissance into the future is one of the many goals. Cultural Economic and creative Development uses all forms of art to build communities and wealth for artists and institutions to continue the work needed. New York is the stage that represents the Diaspora.
ARTCURIAN is the philosophy, the movement and the vision for the harmonizing of African, Caribbean,Latin and American Art and Artists. Theone world we live in allows us to enjoy an evolved consciousness that is expressing itself in bold new ways. What's lacking is the ability to communicate and distribute the ideas, works and visions we are all resonating to in this dynamic creative space. It's extremely refreshing to see this Puma in place. Kudos to you and the networks of artists and institutions involved. How can we help?

I noticed that the word 'spirit' is not in the dialog.
For me the harmonizing of elements requires 'Spirit' to be the glue.

Thanks Herb for your comment and opening of dialogue. Art is the 'spirit' to glue disparate elements. However, its 'spirit' can be interpreted many ways.

Hello Graeme,
This many way interpretation of 'spirit' does not work for me. There is one creative spiritual vibration that is expressed in multiple vibrations. Some folks like to be in the 'multiple vibration' part of the equation as it were. I prefer the oneness that is the cause of the multiplicity.

The recognition of expressions of forms of "ART" being linked to a common fabric is the first obvious step in a very long journey.
That path has many more aspects to it that require 'depth' meaning and spiritual substance. These and other important elements are not being art-iculated as yet. in this writers opinion. Where is the beef?
I would hope that we can transcend the
material and physical surface representations of the spiritual "FALLOUT" most of us think is art and get to depths of vision for the long run.
Where are the initiative to help Haiti? Why is there no crisis readiness awareness in the world in any true organized prepared way. With all the disciplines fused into this 'Long Run' idea
why are we all not running to help areas in crisis on the "last colonized planet left"?
