Sharma Jay Attille

Choreographer and Dancer

I am the Choreographer and Creative Director of SJayChoreography.
SJayChoreography is a freelance dance company, based in Essex and London. I have been interested in Dance from an early age, and became particularly fond of Street and Commercial dance.
Having loved watching performances, i decided to create a street dance group, with myself being a founder and choreographer at the age of 17. I studied Musical theatre at College recieving a BTEC Honours degree, to then graduating in 2010 and recieving a BA HONS degree in Choreography and dance. This was a very proud moment for my family and I.
So far i have been teaching in schools, music videos and gyms, and community centres. I hope to achieve my dream of owning my own dance building where I can continue to teach adults and young adults within 2011. I hope to choreograph many music videos and stage performances for Artists and Television Productions, and like the idea of working with Disabled students for community dance.

I have an interest in merging street and contemporary dance together also. I like the effect and passion it brings out of dancers. When i created my Final Year Project in University about Domestic Violence, the two dance styles portrayed powerful movement within the body. New Work

Hello, Sharma. It's great to see how much time and effort you are putting into your portfolio. Keep it up. Will you be at carnival this year?
