Arthur Dunkelman

Arthur Dunkelman is the Director and Chief Curator of the Kislak Foundation - www.kislakfoudation.org - in Miami Lakes Florida. In 2004 the Jay I. Kislak Foundation donated more than 3,000 rare books, manuscripts and Pre-Columbian artifacts relating to the history of Americas from the Indigenous cultures and European contact through the 18th and 19th centuries. Mr. Dunkelman worked at the Library for four years where he was responsible for managing the transition of the collection and developing plans for the ongoing “Exploring the Americas” exhibit -www.loc.gov/exhibits/earlyamericas/ -
and preparing a catalog of the collection published by the Library of Congress.
