CARIBBEAN: CROSSROADS OF THE WORLD is organized by El Museo del Barrio in collaboration with Queens Museum of Art and Studio Museum in Harlem.
A result of years of rigorous research and conversations in the Caribbean and the United States, CARIBBEAN CROSSROADS presents art, history and culture of the entire Caribbean basin from the Haitian Revolution through the present day.
It is a multi-year and multi-venue project conceived as a series of city-wide conversations and public programs that will culminate in a milestone exhibition, publication and series of public programs in Spring 2012.
