CARIBBEAN: CROSSROADS OF THE WORLD is organized by El Museo del Barrio in collaboration with Queens Museum of Art and Studio Museum in Harlem.
Carnival
A result of years of rigorous research and conversations in the Caribbean and the United States, CARIBBEAN CROSSROADS presents art, history and culture of the entire Caribbean basin from the Haitian Revolution through the present day.
Carnival
It is a multi-year and multi-venue project conceived as a series of city-wide conversations and public programs that will culminate in a milestone exhibition, publication and series of public programs in Spring 2012.

Thank you! Let's stay in touch...our project is more historical, but we are very eager to learn about living artists also. We are currently working on a checklist and there will definitely be a few contemporary works in the show.
