Carla is Publisher and Managing Editor of the online arts magazine DaWire. Founded on July 26th 2009, DaWire features artist texts, exhibition reviews and news from across the globe. By presenting the unknown alongside the very well known, DaWire seeks to bridge the gap between young emerging artists and more established ones. With a critical eye but with the goal of encouraging contemporary artistic practice, DaWire is designed to be a dynamic resource of information sharing for art lovers.

Carla received her B.A. in Literature and Arts from Barnard College, Columbia University in New York and pursued studies in Photography at the Spéos Photographic Institute in Paris. She worked as Editorial Assistant for Review: Literature and Arts of the Americas, a publication from the Americas Society.
