Bashir muhammad Idris

I am Bashir Muhammad Idris, a masters student in International Contemporary Art and Design Practice, Limkokwing University of Creative Technology Malaysia. I am an indigene of Kano State, Nigeria.I am a practicing Artist and a designer, I participated in many art exhibitions, workshops and competitions among which I was opportune to met the prince of Wales (HRH Prince Charles) in 2006, during three series of workshops on traditional Arts organized by his school (Princes School of Traditional Arts, London) British high commission Nigeria, British council and Standard chartered bank, three times in two years. The project was titled "Celebrating the Traditional Islamic Arts of Northern Nigeria" nineteen participants including men and women from different art and crafts domains took part in the workshops which successfully ended with a superb exhibition in Terra Kulture cultural Centre Lagos.
