I am interested in archival documents, fictitious biographies and the making of art.
I like to do things that involved people and a multitude of subjects.
I am a painter and my practice involves collage, three dimensional design and video
as well. I am director of 801 Projects in Miami,
a collaborative art endeavor that brings art outside the traditional contexts of commercial galleries and institutions. Based on three programs, the project aims to trigger and support critical exchange of ideas in art and cultural practice by providing a platform and presentation space to artists and cultural producers; by hosting series of lectures and conversations; and by educating and promoting cultural exchange.
