I have a natural affinity for flora and fauna. I use petals in a way that challenges the often stereotypical view of this organic material as a sentimental craft item. The petal as a material are part of a post modern language which helps develop different visual claims. My work is organic both by the material and the process. It bridges the practice of Fine Art and Fine Craft to form a coherent language.
