I am a blogger, writer and social media practitioner (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn) with a focus on current affairs, social issues, youth issues, the environment and human rights in particular. I have lived in Kingston, Jamaica for the past 24 years. I was born in London and am married to a Kingstonian. I am a retired public affairs officer and worked for a Jamaican bookstore chain for ten years. My views on a range of topics are irreverent, sometimes cynical, often humorous. I have completed a novel and approximately ten short stories, which I hope to have published in the next year or so. I speak French well and am a board member of the Jamaica Forum for Lesbians, All-Sexuals and Gays (J-FLAG).
