Elizabeth Cerejido

I am Assistant Curator of Contemporary Latin American and Latino Art at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston. My main areas of research and curatorial interest include Cuba and Cuban American art and photography, cultural identity, cultural politics. I have also researched the work of contemporary Brazilian women artists as a growing interest in the role of gender politics in contemporary Latin American art. At the MFAH, I will be playing an active role in the institution's collecting, exhibiting and scholarship initiative in the area of Caribbean art.
