Alicia Milne is a young visual artist working in Trinidad and Tobago. She was born in 1986 and has lived in Trinidad for all of her life. Her work addresses various nuances of the Trinidadian experience by building from her own lived experience questioning and poking at core societal assumptions and tenets. The approach to the work can at times be serious and emotional or playful and detached.
She graduated from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine in 2009 with a BA in Visual Arts and a Minor in Cultural Studies.
