I was born in the US but have lived in 22 homes in various countries. I received a BFA from Newcomb College of Tulane University, New Orleans, and relocated after graduation, to the Dominican Republic, and developed my studio practice there for 18 years.
I have won several awards and grants, have held 21 solo exhibits, and participated in group shows in museums and galleries internationally. I have served on important jury panels and have curated several exhibitions.
I enjoy being involved in the cultural community and fostering dialogue between individuals. I am Founder/Director of the Miami artist’s collective, Artformz Alternative, and Co-Founder and Project Director of the celebrated public art exhibit "Giants in the City".
