Margaret Cezair-Thompson

Jamaican-born writer.

Author of two novels set in Jamaica, "The True History of Paradise" and "The Pirate's Daughter," professor of literature and creative writing at Wellesley College, Massachusetts, my main interests include: Africa and the African Diaspora in literature and film, Caribbean history and culture, the promotion of literacy, feature and documentary film, the history of Jamaican music. I'm currently teaching a course on Race, Literature and Human Rights along with courses in screenwriting and fiction writing. I attended high school in Kingston, Jamaica; received my BA from Barnard College NY, and a PhD in literature from City University of New York.

How are you doing? I wish I have a lady like you in my inner circle. I just finish writing my book and I would love to get it edit. So do you have any advice?
